Preity Zinta best actress in Chicago
Well Preity Zinta has finally got her hands on the coveted trophy of the Best actress not at the very publicized Filmfare awards but at highly acclaimed Chicago International Film Festival for her performance in flick Heaven on Earth.
The bubbly actress excitedly exclaims, “I am so happy and excited. I’m going to have a blissfully debauched celebration this evening. It was my director Deepa Mehta who informed me on Saturday afternoon that I had won. Neither Deepa nor I could go to Chicago, I’m thrilled that I’ve done it without any lobbying,”
Preity who has switched to offbeat movies like The Last Lear, Heroes and Heaven on Earth recently is on cloud nine.
She adds, “I’m walking on sunshine. Do you know everyone discouraged me from doing Heaven On Earth and Heroes? But I wanted a change.”
We congratulate Preity on her well deserved success.:)

When Shilpa lost her luggage
Well losing luggage can be nightmarish for anyone who is traveling abroad, but imagine losing seven suitcases at a go? Well that’s what has happened to Shilpa Shetty when she was going to Miami from London.
Shilpa reveals, “Imagine losing all that you had carried for a long stay abroad. It was such a maddening situation. I lost all my seven bags at a go. It wasn’t just my bags; even my entire staff’s bags were misplaced. It was a nightmare. I lost everything, right from all my basic essentials to creams, shampoos, conditioners, and of course my clothes. I had to buy each and everything within a day as I had absolutely nothing left with me and still had to carry on with my professional commitments. Thankfully, I wasn’t carrying my Dostana costumes designed by Manish (Malhotra).”
Shilpa is performing a sizzling beach song in Dostana. It’s Shilpa’s narration after the song that introduces the heroes John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan in the movie.

Sonu Sood: The young Big B
Well if you are are craving to have a look at younger version of Big B,you can now have a look at aspiring actor Sonu Sood, as he has been officially branded as a look alike of Big B when he was young by none other than Jaya Bachchan.
Sonu Sood has bagged a role in ABCL production, King Ashoka, for the character of Teevar on Jaya Bachchan’s recommendation.
Sonu says, “Jayaji feels I look like Amitji in his youth. I only got to know she recommended me for the role much later. I promise I won’t let the Bachchans down.”

Aamir’s Ghajini look causes trouble for doctor
Aamir Khan’s latest look from Ghajini released recently shows the perfectionist Khan all beefed up and looking ultra hot, but while his fans enjoyed the new look, Dr. Surekha Verma of Kanjurmarg had to face the worst day of her life. The reason is there is a number scrippled on Aamir’s hand as tattoo for the poster and that incidentally happened to be Dr. Surekha’s number.
Aamir Khan is quite embarrassed by the turn of events and said, “I really regret the inconvenience caused to the lady whose number was tattooed on my arm. Today, I received over 900 SMSes regarding my Ghajini look. I had to clean up my inbox three times since morning. I empathise with her as I can imagine what she must have gone through.”
When Dr.Surekha was asked about her day, she said, “It was maddening ever since I woke up to these non-stop crazy calls asking for Aamir, Anthony… I had to switch off my phone. How can anyone just use my number like that, without my knowledge, forget my consent.”
Well the producer has decided to provide the doctor with a new number and regret causing her inconvenience.

Posh turns Vogue India hot
Vogue India’s latest issue doesn’t feature a beautiful Indian face on its cover, rather it is ex-spice girl Victoria Beckham gracing the cover of Vogue India.
Victoria Beckham wife of Soccer sensation David Beckham and also called Posh Spice is seen in a Indian bridal sari.
Victoria says, “I have long been an avid admirer of the Indian fashion and lifestyle culture.”
Anahita Shroff Adajania, fashion director for the magazine, reveals that Posh was very excited trying the Indian outfits, “She absolutely loved everything about it — from the ‘maang tikka’ and ‘haath zeb’ (traditional Indian jewellery) to the gorgeous lehengas (traditional Indian skirt with embroidery),” she says.
Well how do you like the Indianized version of Victoria Beckham?

Kareena Kapoor says no to Johnny Depp
Kareena Kapoor was offered a role of a lifetime by Bend it like Beckham director Gurinder Chadda for her next flick opposite handsome hunk Johnny Depp.
The NRI director is also set to make a big-budget Hollywood flick, but poor Kareena denied the film as she had dates problem and moreover she was not impressed with the offer.
Well with films like 3 idiots with Aamir Khan, Kambaqt Ishq with Akshay Kumar and Main aur Mrs Khanna with Sallu in her kitty, Bebo has nothing to worry about, not even Johnny Depp.

Saif gets tattooed
It’s not only Saif Ali Khan who is getting the name of his lady love tattooed, Arshad Warsi has got his chest tattooed with ‘Saif’ written on it for Golmaal Returns.
When Arshad was quizzed about Saif’s reaction to this, he reveals, “Saif’s a friend and obviously Kareena is a friend and part of the film, too. When we told him what we planned to do, he was cool with it, in fact he found it quite funny himself. So it wasn’t tough to get Saif’s permission.”
When further asked whose idea was it, Arshad adds, “This is what happens when a gang of rogues team up to make a film. It was a collective effort.”

Minissha’s mystery man revealed
Minissha Lamba has been snapped enjoying her time with a mystery man not on one but many occasions. Although Minissha denies being in love, but rumors tell a different story.
A source reveals, “Minissha is dating a Kashmir-based businessman named Sohail. They first met at a party and have been dating each other for the past three months. They seem very serious about each other.”
However Minissha is keen to keep her relationship a secret, when quizzed about her relation with Sohail, she said, “Just because I am seen with a friend does not mean that I am dating him. I am single and not dating anyone right now.”

Katrina Tries On 200 Gowns For Yuvraaj
Just 24 years of age and only nine films old, this girl has the professionalism of a seasoned Bollywood actress.. although she needs to work alot more on her acting skills but her sincerity towards her work that completely bowled filmmakers out. What more she pays special attention to her look in each film and tries on something different. You must have heard that she designed her own clothes for her superhit film Namaste London.For Yuvraaj, she is said to have tried on 200 hundered gowns designed by Gauri and Nanika, to finalize on the perfect look she needed for the film.
“Katrina’s look n Yuvvraaj is very classic and very regal with the emphasis on empire line waistlines and Grecian gowns. Before starting the schedule of Yuvvraaj, Katrina tried over 200 different gowns spending the entire day with Delhi based designers Gauri and Nanika,” said a source.
“Each gown gave a different effect. Katrina wanted to then zero in on gowns. That would make a very fairy tale kind of impact on screen,” the source added.
And finally when Katrina arrived on the sets in her costume… her look of a regal English princess is said to have made the entire unit’s jaws drop.
